when I once lived on 443 Elgin Ave.
in Winnipeg.
There, I would sleep by our Christmas Tree.
With lights.
And a warm place we called home.
My sister and I.
We'd wait for the man with a beard,
and a happy face.
The resemblence of an entire lifetime.
