I don't know if this take is Lacanian in theory but. . .
There is nothing secure about a super villain in any plot.
Look no further than Tony Santana in Scarface. Pacino's character reveal an alarming psychotic (scene after scene) until. . . the plot changes as Tony murders the driver he is pulling a hit on in their vehicle, because Tony didn't want to kill innocent children involved. That scene plays out as it had to - but not without seeing Tony for who he could be. Someone that still had a conscience had he not decided to break the contract.
Pacino plays a tragic hero. That is all.
Are we seeing the tragic hero as promoting a revolutionary act - is the question we should be seeking.
To ask if that line is blurred is a Shakespearean dichotomy. Does the tragic hero act as the plot's main lesson to be had. Do the main character offer a conscience to an audience that the audience can relate to real life. The reality that Pacino had a psychotic episode was a matter of life and death for his character vs. murdering innocent children. In conclusion: we are masking ourselves in an existential crisis or does monetary value and wealth make withdraw from society with suicidal ideation. I would argue psychosis cannot parody this. The psychological nature of a character has to have a cause which is honorable and not lost in the plot. If that plot is lost because of a character's inhibitions, are they really tragic hero's. The answer is, 'no'. They acted not in truth, but in a situation that had it been reality they are flawed. What the audience is left with is the scope of reason to dictate norms, why else would they be invested in a tragic hero. The courage to act in real life, should be the cathartic element. We don't leave a movie theatre wanting to commit ourselves psychologically as to avenge or copy from it.

The true basis of learning is not mechanical in its realm by definition, it is not only human in its origin. Hi Deepak, Could you define cosmic fire? I have always seen it as a non-local event, but as the engine that drives everything; and as all-permeating. I have always observed it from a distance; I have never touched it or engaged it; though it was always very powerful. It was not bright, but more like a rolling lava field, always in motion, and the energy coming from it (in my thinking) was part of what is 'driving the machine" (ex: the "fuel" or the power behind it.) My innate desires do not necessitate it, therefore the meditative experience is conducive to the trained eye in real time.
