2008 election

Obama is a spoon feeding style of debater (which causes me to believe) he has an endearing view of the problems that his campaign rests on. What this leads me to ask are of Obama's beliefs, that should he become president indicate a rather sterile opinion. If the reason were adequate enough to tell me, Obama has a firm grasp of what intentions he has to become leader, what I see is a man with a means to hold power on a corporate level. I simply fail to agree with the approach Obama's campaign has taught. I truly feel a valid indifference based on this secular corporate world idea, which most voters in America will be focused on making Obama as a choice. Is Obama a 'wise' enough candidate for this idealist notion of Obama-Inc? My immediate instinct tells me otherwise.

I have to disagree. If you listen to Obama you will hear a man who knows what he is talking about. Unlike senator Mccain who refers everyone as "my friends", listen they are not your friends but people who need a leader. It is easy to get people to like you, but gaining respect has to be earned. Obama speaks in a concise manner that the nation can understand and breaks down in details on how he is going to change the problems Americans face. All Mccain does is avoid the questions he cannot answer in fear of looking like a jackass. Let's get real in last night debate Mccain said he can change health care and the environmental issues at the same time. You have to be kidding, these are not issues that are easy to fix, therefore one should be focused on until it is better before trying to tackle something that is larger than just the United States. Healthcare is something that is in the governments control, and things can be changed immediately to rectify the problems our fellow Americans face. The enviromnetal issues are something that is going to be a long process to cure, therefore submit some belief in the people that what you say you are going to do as president, you actually do. Obama should become the president because he seems to me to be the more reasonable and educated of the two, if he does not win, America will stay the same.

We can rue all we want about it, the type of action that has anything remotely plausible (provided the democracy actually believes change in presidency = polarity advocating total reinvention of gov. policies) is a skeptical minority. The challenge in American politics is Obama banking on him as an imaginary tragic figure, as though a anti-hero which can easily mislead public consciousness - far easier than anything we're used to seeing. Obama's credibility as a mastermind within the ranks, is something that has not been purged upon because - what politicians have done - is sell what they think people want to hear. Reform, does not change the world we live in. Making a difference in the world as a corporate civil servant means absolutely nothing.
Therefore, I am glad we disagree.
