A tort or negligence has greed inflict - - that obtaining anything 'free' often self-refers as 'too good to be true'.

Compliance is never the clear-cut alternative, in fact, our compliance must never be transmitted.  Never quit, based on your own compliance.

Compliance has only ever generated, false hope, mistrust, disingenuous human error i.e. enslaving corruption, such as multi-national bureaucracy/guilty pleasure of satsifaction/greed which acts superfluously etc.

Case in point - I haven't ever been able to tell, which from which is fakest in their approach. Truth be told - I never have to do so myself.
