Dearest Diary,
Someone told me this would happen. It's been written here before it became true, because I have no way of telling the future. One day, 2008 to be exact the first black American president will be elected US commander in chief. I wonder what that feels like, so far into the night. Perhaps CNN will play clips of jubilant spectators, or the vast majority of supporters looking on a stage of elitist judges for reality television shows - but no matter. I suppose the trick here is what happened due to a lesson in irony.
How in an instance of unrelenting peace were in effect being celebrated, though in a democracy such as American politics is concerned - war efforts post-ergo 9/11 brought popularist rhetoric that in doing so justified unilateral invasion. (No such terms were used then.) It's not your fault, Obama. We forgive you. With a ballot box, underneath. It was all not done in vain, Obama. They cry no more, this election is not done in vain. But what if the American populous elected the same man - a democrat - during the time Bush was president elect. Would things really be that much different, if the advocacy of those who elected in favor of 'democratic' war based on national security gave W. his second term in office. I see irony in place of those that voted in favor of invading other countries, only to say "we love democracy - our freedom depends on it" to cancel that with changing ideology. Is that how democracy is historically, or it is simply flawed that it works that way.
From the point of view that Obama is now a puppet in the corporate world of political welfare, the world is in a global recession, which as result of simple rules there are no easy solutions. If you believe in change for the sake of change, some people will fall over themselves no matter what they're being told. If you think that people have increased their wisdom over rational input, that desires have been reset - only to compensate for rewards - let us rest on our laurels. If the case that democracy - in this day and age - politically discriminates against using false ideals of 'hope' and 'change' as a vote are actually liabillities. When you hear someone say, "I need your help when I f' up." - it might speak of a man in hiding before the shade turns to daylight.
I do admire one thing, it is a purpose - which every man should have - and that is to face adversity for the sake of doing so. Taking action over authority with an objective in mind, which eases authority in place of judgment. Any man that sells himself as smart enough to do something about his own ability to enact as a secular human being - may very well be a form of hypocrite with blinding words.
Republicans - the self reliant types - say "We do what we want - then you must be a democrat."
Democrats - the dependable off-spring - say "If we're not with you - you're against us." as if to speak in terms of group cohesion.
Integrity is a small price I pay, as I watch everyone plagiarize what they would not do without.

Someone should publish that in the future edition of "totally awesome".
