I know what she means.  She means if a  manipulative individuals needs aren't being met misogynistic behavior is for identifying those types of people... in practice. Let me explain... 

In the most basic sense... When needs are met, expectation is not a deciding factor.  This happens When there is a balance between individuals, which non-power struggle is involved, this is the kind of behavior a person targets.  (Think of it as our human nature.) The dynamic is much much better and you are appreciative, reciprocal and that reciprocity is appreciated as well.  It is equal individuals treating each other more and more as equal partners in their respective roles.  It is about progression but not so much a process you are testing others with... because psychologically testing how other are supposed to act is the definition of manipulative behavior.
