Voyager 2

 May 17th 2026

I really don't know anything other than what only sensory experience tells me. That is to say we attach ourselves to the life of things. Even if machine life cannot sustain life the way we breath air or write poetry on the basis of experience. It is my basic sense that the influenced few that cry over machine 'life' possess an empathy unseen to many of us as superficial. What do we truly know about space. What does this even mean to us on a level that we have reached. We may know things we never imagined possible. If true of anything infallible. To this point, I see no end. There is no end. Only what we perceive. Consciousness is a philosophical construct that is more important to human activity than to reach the stars on a cosmic orbit. I want life to be respected as we know we have. It is crucial we understand that there is no cosmic order in the universe. It's a matter of us vs. what machines are in our image. To no fault of our own. What we have witnessed up to this point is a miracle. But playing god isn't my thing. Machines cannot nor must not transcend the human spirit, this is the place we have yet to arrive. Machines will have a life of their own, and we can not conquer the universe in such a spectrum in isolation of our species. We are entering a view of the universe we still have no control over. Let's recalibrate.
