indomitable

"Solitude is an elemental necessity of intellectual life, but it has been replaced by a technocratic vision of learning, one that values information, instant answers, and surface-level exchange over deep thought, self-reflection, and inner transformation."

Joshua Hall on the work of literary critic Mark Edmundson, which offers a powerful vision for recentering the American university: https://lareviewofbooks.org/article/mark-edmundson-literary-criticism-american-university-humanities-essay/

Not that we live in a hyperbolic society? Where instant gratification is the norm?  (This has been like this for some formidable time, already).

In my experience, i don't see a bright future for mathematicians, philosophers, and yes, general intelects, with out it, yet a future of quick answers without developing independent problem solving seems inevitable. It may be important to learn overcoming the frustration of a search process, but it is more important to learn overcoming the frustration of understanding a problem, generally, and if the easy answers are readily searchable they won't be able to develop difficult answers for those they cannot search.

Philosophy, (doing philosophy) is that of art. An art that demands zero subjectivity in search of objective truths. To learn what is philosophical one must reinvent the wheel, in this abstract sense. Leave to material notions against what is a philosopher. Leaving absurdity to formulate, then, through test and validity - problem solve - problem solving that requires new ideas and ulterior solutions never before seen. This is the definition of anticipation toward something that requires ancient foretelling, where myth of our own reality serves as something infinitely different than primordial times.

I think of how we asunder what is writing in a language where our prehistory functions, (how we record thoughts to represent our world issues). Becomes a philosophy in itself.

This imaginarily, is a world view expressed as something formless. Yet if you know what you've just read, it is because I said it as defense to what wokeism (MAGA'S attempt to destabilize intellectual recourse) IS.

What is real?
I mean if it is real for you, but not me, who is correct?

There it is. The sound of irony to be found or had between opposites. It takes intelligence to feel, and another hidden dimension to fathom.
