Real friends want to protect you, fake friends want to use you, everyone else lack empathy to know the difference.
True empathy, the real thing, that better separates how we see ourselves in others (a) is not a dilemma (b) as much as it confuses people (c) to turn their backs on you - only because I have tested my own will against their wishes.
People feel easily intimidated if their authority is being manipulated - their very sense of compromise as, it is, the lowest form of life.
