This is democracy we must know according to Marx. Before making this assumption... there are decisions we must make (only we are the oppressed,) and to that end the oppressed are opposite of having a real choice in such matters of principle.
For example:
Conservatives in ๐จ๐ฆ want the abolition of our institutions from which social programs make up our government so not to act as an establishment.
This type of right thinking is not anticapital, however, conservative anomalies want to believe that is the case.
Further to antiestablishment the oppressed are the oppressors version of institutions we require, where abolition of the state or "small government" does not give us agency at all. Our freedom should depend on how our idea of government acts in our best interest on a sustianable level for the everyone. Mark is saying: the oppressed have to unlearn from this stereotype we face from oppressors. Mainly, the elitist class conscious.
