How I tell that someone is being nice to me is simple, they'll treat others as if I'm ineffective, then I know it because pure silence would have been much much better.

I especially love it when in my secret life, no one hears me asking them, "Is that your idea of being nice to me." And then I laugh at them.
My favorite memory from my university days, were when I'd completely ignore high-brow students and profs wanting their asses kissed, even funnier still, it so universally applies to those special cases working behind the Starbucks counter counter-culture in life.
If someone here can post something unrelated that they've so learned in the past month, ^better than my original statement above. Feel free to do so. I'll be waiting.
I bet half the people who visit my profile, have no clue what my status means, because like many before them, fail to think it's either non-sense or dismissive.
