This is my favorite Salvador Dali graphic. I had this image taped to the door of my residence at 915 Bannatyne during my time living there. It would scare the shit out of people. But the painting itself means a great deal to me. It spea...ks of sacrifice for the right or wrong reasons, and in saying that I live between what is right and wrong -which is more than I can say for most people's humanity on their fringe level of awareness.
If you see what Dali is trying to emulate in this painting - it is the fact the face cannot be seen, it speaks to our ignorance in place of suffrage.
I have been written up as a criminal, been thought of as a traitor, consumed by those that I no longer think of telling me I am crazy - but I will not give them the pleasure. Keep watching. I am not going anywhere. Especially you cop outs. I will die an honorable death. That is my goal. That is my purpose.
