I support your argument in the form of a question: what is law according to cause and if so what makes the law's themselves.
Laws being manmade.
Without philosophy there are no laws.
Therefore, there are no laws.
The above syllogism is fallacious. Yes. But fallacy to what degree. If laws are manmade and self imposed to regulate the masses on a macro level using a micro managed interface.
Did Aristotle not equate laws as rules that man himself must debunk. Then, what good are laws.
We can all agree what is murder. It is unacceptable according to our moral duty in the 'man vs. man' dichotomy. Behavior does not depend on our place in how murder functions. If you kill someone, the general rule is that it's wrong. Therefore, promises as uncompromising. Again, we all can agree on such terms.
What appears to be happening according to my arguments herein, is a false fabrication of norms being applied in the face of Trump's presidency in the 🇺🇸.
Our values haven't changed. (Yet the false dichotomy is always present.)
Trump's judgement supercedes everything in my argument.
Discuss.
